The Tourism Industry Safety Passport (Matupa) is a tailored safety training program for employees in the accommodation, restaurant, activity, and ski resort sectors.
Completing the course ensures that employees have fundamental knowledge of tourism safety. The goal is to enhance customer safety, prevent accidents, and improve the quality of tourism services. The course also encourages participants to develop their safety skills.

Matupa course is managed by the Finnish National Rescue Association (SPEK) and aims to create a safer working environment in the tourism industry while improving the quality of tourism products and services.
The training consists of lectures, discussions, self-assessments, and group work. It can be divided into two days and combined with a first aid course.
