The Whitewater Rescue Technician – Recreational course is a whitewater rescue training designed for paddlers, developed by the international Rescue 3 standardization body. The course focuses on self-rescue and safe whitewater navigation through hands-on exercises and practical training.
This course provides both practical exercises and theoretical knowledge, enhancing safety awareness and preparedness for water rescue situations. You will learn how to handle yourself in a whitewater environment and make your paddling trips safer.
Rescue 3 courses always offer up-to-date best practices in the industry, based on thorough research and testing. The participants must be confident swimmers with experience of water-based activities (rafting, canoeing, canyoning, sea level traversing etc.) and be minimum 18 years old.
