Wilderness First Aid (WFA)

Learn how to handle emergencies in challenging conditions and enjoy exploring the wilderness safely.

On the Wilderness First Aid Course, you will learn how to respond to emergencies in difficult environments where professional help may be delayed. This course is ideal for anyone who spends time in nature, whether on day hikes or short wilderness adventures. No prior first aid experience is required.

The two-day Wilderness First Aid course is part of a comprehensive program developed by the Wilderness Medical Associates in the United States. It is designed for situations where calling emergency services or receiving professional help quickly is not always possible.

Under the guidance of skilled and experienced instructors, this course introduces participants to essential medical concepts and life-saving first aid skills. Those who complete the training will receive a Wilderness First Aid certificate and an Adult CPR certification, both valid for three years.
